FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Driving Requirement?
General requirements for the TLC insurance are 25 years old, 3 years of DMV license, 1 year of TLC license. But we can work on different cases, even without a driving or/and TLC experience or/and with any record issues. You must have a valid driver’s license and TLC license issued by NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission to drive our cars.
Second driver is possible?
If a car is taken for 2 shifts a surcharge will be applied for an additional driver. Driver’s requirements for additional drivers are same. Additional Drivers are also recognized as if they are the principal driver. All additional drivers are responsible for the vehicle until the vehicle is returned.
How I can pay?
We accept cash, checks, credit or debit cards, bank transfers or direct deposits. You may also use such applications as ZELLE, VENMO, CASH APP, APPLE PAY, or GOOGLE PAY.
The cars are insured?
We will provide you an auto insurance policy that meets the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission Vehicle For Hire Insurance Requirements plus with a full coverage.
What should I do in case of an Accident?
Please call 911, make sure to get a police report and photographs of the accident. Send a text message to our main phone number or leave a voicemail.
What is Driving Area Restrictions?
You can drive within states New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Can I return the car back earlier and where?
You must return the vehicle to the location printed on your Driver’s Agreement and notify us at least 2 weeks before you plan to give the vehicle back.

We consider our weekly rate as a 7 day rate.
Who is responsible for Tolls and Tickets?
The driver is fully responsible for any parking, traffic, and EZPASS tickets during the time of driving our TLC vehicle. Don’t get tickets but if you do, pay immediately. Most of the tickets you will receive by mail directly. If you ignore them, court judgments will be issued with all legal procedures and come outs accordingly, plus your driver’s and TLC licenses might be suspended. There is no way to escape paying summonses. Please take our advice.
